Desktop Computers Are Still Necessary
In the past few years laptops have started to make a very serious dent in replacing desktop computers. There are a lot of good reasons, convenience and mobility being the most common. Prices have dropped considerably and power and features have increased steadily. Being able to take it with is a big advantage. We have a fall tradition that fills in the void between summer and winter holidays. We have a pasta party, or sometimes even two during September and October. The weather cools down and we can open up the house and invite friends over to make pasta from scratch. We start out with a light brunch and planning our pasta ingredients and break up into groups for each flavor. Each couple or individual brings a salad or meat to go with the... Kids And Cameras
Last summer we took our two grandkids (a 6 year old boy and 7 year old girl) to the beach for the afternoon for a picnic, fishing, swimming, and sea shell hunting trip. But on the way we stopped at a quick shop to get some ice and my grandson spotted one of those throw away cameras (good for one roll of film and then you send in or hand over the whole camera for the prints).
